Foot-O at Blue Mountain

On a frigid and beautifully sunny day at Blue Mountain, 31 brave souls headed out on courses designed and set by Randy Tanner. In a tight battle on the Advanced Beginner course, the Reintjes family just edged out Melissa Moser. On the Intermediate Course, Eric Jones had the fastest time of the day, but didn't quite manage to chase down his son Isaac, who started with a fifteen minute head start. Isaac is part of the GrizO youth contingent training for the US Junior Nationals coming up in January outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Isaac finished second on the Intermediate course, just six seconds ahead of Jeremy Ditto!

Thank you so much to Randy Tanner for setting the courses! Jan Lauenstein helped put out and pick up controls; Siri Christopherson and Loy Koch picked up controls as well.
