The weather forecast that threatened freezing rain did not deter over 30 orienteers from getting out on Eric Jones' courses at Blue Mountain today. They were rewarded with very decent weather, and great challenges, both physical and mental.

A number of folks completed multiple courses, including Chris Caldwell, who did the Intermediate/Advanced double, and Michael Kelly and Colleen Bue, who followed a third-place finish on the Advanced course by taking Michael's parents around the Beginner course.

​

As usual, we could not have held this event without help from our excellent volunteers. First and foremost, a huge thank you goes to Eric Jones, who made his course-setting debut at this event, and did a fabulous job. We also thank Jeremy Ditto and Molly Todd for help setting up; Kate Supplee for help with event takedown; and Calvin Olson, Loy Koch, and Eric Jones for picking up controls.
