About the Event
This is Day 6 of the Pacific Northwest Orienteering Festival. Day 6 is hosted by Grizzly Orienteering at Soft Rock Recreation Area.
This will be a Middle Distance National Ranking Event.

Map scale: 1:7,500.
The area consusts of two distinct parts: an open, sagebrush-covered gentle hillside with relatively few featues; and an extremely detailed section of hills and valleys covered in cliffs, boulders, and reentrants. Runnability is outstanding throughout, with virtually no green on the map. This area is extremely well-suited to a technical and physical middle distance race. June 30 - GrizO / U of M NRE / Starts between 9am-11am / Sprint distance
