Flathead Weekend: Lone Pine State Park

This spring we hosted a full weekend of orienteering up in the Flathead. Day 1 was held at Lone Pine State Park, with Steve Varro as the course setter.

We had spectacular weather all weekend, and good attendance composed about evenly of Missoula regulars and some new and returning locals, as well as a visitor all the way from Orienteering UTAH!

Thanks to Steve for a great set of courses. Allison Brown took on event directing duties. Thanks also to everyone who helped out with organizing, beginner instruction, and control pickup: Liam, Euell, and Kara Browne, Ben Conley, Zariah Zosel, Kate DeBlonk, Anne Struble, Calvin Olson.
