This was our second summer evening event of the season. Siri Christopherson designed a great set of courses, using parts of the UM campus that were new to many of our competitors.

There were many twists, turns, and lead changes in the fast-paced mass start race on the Long course, with Greg Friedman emerging victorious after Boris Granovskiy and Forrest Boughner skipped the 19th control and had to come back for it. Boris ended up 2nd, just ahead of Calvin Olson.

​

Joshua Walthall was fastest on the Medium course, with Bela and Amy Friedman in 2nd, and Allison Brown in 3rd. First-timers Nash and Saxton Emrich won the Short Advanced course, and the Gence Family were quickest on Beginner. 

​

A special shout-out to Melissa Hewitt and Alyson Jay, who each did the Beginner course and then headed out a second time, completing the Medium course together. 

​
